31 March - My birthday @ 3 Monkeys....
Finally..we settle at 3 Monkeys.. the story goes like this:
I wanted Blackforest Cake...mel & guen were thinking of which cafe will actually sell tt...so we went to a few cafe in Southbank to find..but non of the cafes there sell Blackforest Cake (its the MOST common kind of cake you can find in SG...but from what mel mention..MUDCAKE is the common cake..)...so Mel was really sweet..she drove us from Southbank to West End, where 3 Monkeys is..and if you dun know..3 Monkeys is one of the popular...everyone knows abt it cafe here....anyway...we STILL can't get blackforest cake...but anyway...i ended up ordering a Almond & Blackberry Tart, and Chocolate Obsenity, and a glass of Orang Utan(ice blended with banana & orange), and Long Coffee(erm if tts what it is called) for Kel...

i don't know what it is..but its really creepy...one of the lamp post at West End...really wonder why no one clean it...looks like we are at some haunted house.....and gosh..you shld see the apartment next to it..its so different...
Present i got for myself..and i been waiting to get a furrie hood jacket..comes in black, silver and gold....in the end i got the silver... coz as commented by mel i look like a gangster in black and gold is about the same tone as my skin colour...so yep..got the silver one.. and i really love it..can't wait to wear tt on...

The essentals of Bak Kut teh - Bak Kut la...like duh! haa..meat ball (though it looks weird..but still taste like meatball)...pork meat..garlic...and not to forget..chilli with dark sauce....
and also with my EGGS!!

At UQ Lake Bus Stop
See the panel over there? it show the timing for the next bus..but its not very accurate and keep changing.. haaa... the blue thing is suppose to be the stop...so there's 2 means 2 bus stop..so you gotta check wat bus stops there... the 1st one is where we be taking our bus..
This is the 109 bus stop...the board also has the map and the bus timing...
Honestly, i dunno what are they..just find them cute....they really do have alot of weird birds here.

The laksa is really BIG...can be shared with 2 pax lo....quite worth rite..heee..and mr ong say this one is more like Yong Tau Fu Laksa.

One box of Mi Goreng.. very nice de wor..! 30 packets for only AUD8.60 which is like SGD0.37 lo..quite cheap rite..
Our basic neccessities...fish curry powder, tom yam soup, erm..think tts black pepper chicken ba hee.. sichuan soup, dong fen (my fav also)...
though cannot receive the bak kut teh...lucky can still find PRIMA TASTE bak kut teh..amazing rite...prdt of singapore wor... heee

I think Mr Ong miss his fried onion..haa..
We have Fried Onion, Condensed Milk (from SG), Sesame Oil (for sesame chicken..erm if tts what you call it), Luncheon Meat (not Meili but Mingfa..haa), MY FAVOURITE LINGHAM chilli..gosh and its cheaper than SG...good bargain..and last but not less Chilli Garlic Sauce.....
Korean Noodle..cheaper than SG and its really nice..especially with my kimchi....

Finally..i made my workplace cosy....send me more PHOTOS!!! be part of my study family.. haha...
Photos even on my mirror...my best buddies and my mummy...
goldies is so naughty..see mess up my bed.. haha...anyway i manage to rearrange my shelves... now look much better..all thanks to mr ong and baby lizard.. haha...oh. and the IDEAL laundry basket...bought on behalf by mel toh..thanks baby! ^@^
One week break...what have i been doing???? 'INVESTING' in this book...haha...one week on only 4 chapters..but already enough of torture...im still getting used to the terms that they use..coz quite different frm SG and also...the MANY mistakes in this books..gosh.. how many times am i going to tell my tutor about the mistakes..hmmmm......ya..most of the time im working on mistakes and figure things out and end up realizing the ans is wrong..so im not trusting their ans anymore.. HRMPH!

SURPRISE!! SURPRISE!!! Parcel from home again.....its my birthday present.... So now.. i wan to thank my er jiu, jiu jiu, aunties, uncles, mummy, daddy, grandma, miss joanne, ah pui aka kelvin chee for the wonderful gift and surprise..
Honestly.. its really a surprise..coz i receive a call when im half asleep at 9am in the morning saying tt i have a parcel... when i wake up i really tot im dreaming.. haha.....ok la..but i did went to the office to check if i really receive anything from SG.......really thanks wor.. seems like a dream... GOSH!!!
Dinner Served again! tts broccoli w 'smelly' mushrooms, grilled salmon (fresh, cheap and yummy), rendang beef... yumyum.....

Bus Stop @ Toowong.. while waiting for the bus, once again....im taking photos....mr ong look like he had enough.. haha...
thats the ticket you should buy if you are taking LOTS of buses or trips.... the daily ticket which means unlimited ride within a day.. ya.. they had tt in PAPER.. no card one... oh.. they just introduce a new GO card which means our ez-link.. but due to their efficiency.. i still prefer to buy ticket rather than to use the card......coz i will never know if they overcharge... since they JUST introduced it in Queensland..
Highlight of the day! EXTRA HOT WHOLE CHICKENS!!! heee..oh tts our Breakfast, Lunch cum Dinner.. (maybe for mr ong la..coz i secretly snacked here and there...i can't survive w/o food except when im sleeping)

They gave us 3 options:
1. Destroyed (No charge)
2. Have the items treated (Cost applied per action, NOT PER ITEM... and erm i also wun wanna eat so dun waste $$)
3. Returned to Sender for AUD42.50

oh..and erm ya..grapes with yoghurt...best combination ever..and that's SKI dark cherries yoghurt.... cherries and grapes does goes hand in hand...yum!!

That's suppose to be whole chicken only.. instead it became 'Fiesta' which is more expensive.. comes with a whole chicken and a side dish (either coleslaw, fries, rice etc).. actually i think coz we waited like 30mins for tt, they probably compensate by giving us free chips. heehee...and why u cannot see the chicken??? BECAUSE...its so piping hot that we attacked it.. haha.... oh and the chicken is with hot sauce...
